Tucker
Breed: Abyssinian Color: Tri Roan Tucker is the sire to all of our Abyssinian litters and is such a stunning boy. From his eye catching coloration, nearly perfectly Rosettes and sweet demeanor with us, Tucker is truly a joy to have in our program!
Waffles
Breed: Abyssinian Color: Brindle Bonded with the sow herd ♡ Waffles is an incredible sow that we feel so grateful to have here. She is especially bonded with our 5 year old daughter and tugs at the hearts of most everyone with her adorable eyes and calm personality.
French Fry - “Frenchie”
Breed: Abyssinian Color: TSW - Tortoiseshell and White Bonded with the sow herd ♡ Frenchie was a “love at first sight” piggy for Dallas. As you’ll come to notice, the majority of Dallas’ Guinea Pig herd is very similarly colored (TSW is her favorite). It was quite difficult to find a TSW Abyssinian sow and just when she thought she wouldn’t find one, here came Frenchie. She has been a perfect addition to the Abyssinian program and is actually BEST friends with Waffles.
Pretzel
Breed: Abyssinian Color: Red Roan w/a blaze Bonded with the sow herd ♡ Pretzel is a daughter from Tucker and Frenchie and stole Dallas’ heart the second she was born. Although we don’t plan to add any additional Abyssinian boars to our herd currently, (meaning Pretzel won’t be able to produce purebred Abyssinians) we do plan to pair her with Darwin to produce “skinny carriers” which will help expand our Skinny herd + genetics as well as to Benton, our Peruvian boar, for Sheba pups!
Bartleby
Breed: Coronet Color: TSW - Tortoiseshell and White (with silvering) Currently in a “buzz cut” Bartleby is one of Quinley’s very favorite pigs in the herd. He has a very quirky but adorable, expression that pairs perfectly with his sweet temperament. Bartleby was born appearing like a ‘normal’ TSW but as weaning approached, his coat began ‘silvering’ (silver hairs growing through out the coat). The Caviary Bartleby came from suspected that he would outgrow the silvering once his adult coat came in but to our surprise, the silvering only intensified! His coloring would not be accepted in the show world but we are absolutely smitten by it nonetheless!
Gingerbread
Breed: Coronet Color: Golden Agouti Red and White Bonded with the sow herd ♡ Currently in a “buzz cut” Ginger is an absolute sweetheart and similar to Cashew when it comes to her grooming tendencies within the herd. She’s always the first sow to openly welcome a new herd member or any newborn(s). Ginger also holds a special place in Dallas's heart as her first Coronet Guinea Pig (7 years ago) was a sow with the same coloring as Ginger.
Moira
Breed: Skinny Color: Black and Red - very little red (Werewolf) Bonded with the sow herd ♡ Moira was our very first Skinny Pig and truly believes she holds a special place because of it (and maybe she’s right!). She is most definitely the Herd Queen and none of the other sows care to question or challenge it. She maintains a perfect matriarchy within her herd all while making the humans swoon!
