As of January 1st 2024, ALL Sweet Cloverdale Holland Lops are $300. We stand out from the "average" rabbit breeder for a multitude of reasons, but the primary one being that this isn't a 'hobby' for Dallas - this is quite literally her lifestyle and what her day to day life revolves around. Every bunny born at Sweet Cloverdale Rabbitry is not only from two healthy and happy bunny parents, but is raised as an active part of our family from birth until take home day.
What does the price of each bunny reflect?
When purchasing a Sweet Cloverdale Bunny, you are not only purchasing a new member of your family, but you have a dedicated and hopelessly devoted breeder by your side for the entirety of that bunny's life. All Cloverdale Bunnies leave with lifetime support and Dallas goes out of her way to ensure that you and your new bunny are set up for success.
"I can find plenty of bunnies for a fraction of the cost, will you negotiate your prices?"
You're right! There are many other breeders and bunnies readily available who may better fit your budget. We kindly ask that you seek out those options rather than asking us to accommodate you financially. We strongly believe that "you get what you pay for" and that's not to say that other wonderful and healthy bunnies won't be offered at lower prices, it just means that ours will not be.
What age do you allow baby bunnies to go home?
We keep all bunnies for a very minimum of 8 weeks. Often times Dallas will choose to keep them for 9-10 weeks to ensure they've weaned properly from mama bun and have successfully started on litter box training.
Can we come visit the Homestead and Rabbitry?
For the safety and privacy of our family, home and animals we are closed to the public and will only meet in a neutral location. We appreciate your understanding.
Do you have a waiting list?
We do not keep an official waiting list but we do love to make and keep connections with future potential bunny families. Sending your application in as soon as you know you're ready and committed to getting a bunny will allow more time for Dallas to make contact with you and pair the right bunny with your family!
How long do bunnies live?
While bunnies are more delicate than our dog and cat friends, they happen to have very similar life expectancies. Rabbits regularly live up to 10-12 years of age, with many reporting their companions to live into their late teens!
